Polyether polyols (PPG)are a class of macromolecular compounds formed by alkali-catalyzed polymerization of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or other epoxides. They are usually colorless to yellowish liquids or solids with multiple hydroxyl (-OH) functional groups. Depending on the molecular weight and functional degree (hydroxyl number), polyether polyols can exhibit different physical properties, such as viscosity, hardness, etc. Polyether polyols have good solubility and reactivity.
