1.Drilling fluid additives: In the oil production industry, 75% liquid potassium formate is often used as an additive to drilling fluids to help control the hydration expansion of shale, reduce adhesion to drilling tools, and improve drilling efficiency.
2.Snow melting agent: Due to its low freezing point, it can be used as a snow melting agent for roads to effectively lower the melting temperature of snow and ice, ensuring the safety of winter traffic.

Q:What causes Potassium Formate liquid to turn red?
