1.Tetramethylammonium chloride is used as a selective fluorination catalyst and a phase transfer catalyst in organic synthesis processes, including halogen replacement reactions, redox reactions, N-alkylation, carbene dichloride reactions, and others. It also used as a curing accelerator in polymerization, such as in the production process of powder coatings and epoxy resins.
2.Tetra Methyl Ammonium Chloride is also used as a conductive agent in low-temperature electrolytic aluminum refining, a modifier for organobentonite and montmorillonite, an agent for the precipitation, separation, and extraction of precious metals such as platinum and palladium, an accelerator for PCR amplification in plant genetic breeding, a molecular sieve template agent, and an oilfield chemical agent.
