Product Regeneration

 

 

3A molecular sieves can be regenerated by using hot dry gases(such as nitrogen).The degree of regeneration depends on the temperature,flow and humidity of the hot and dry gas (the optimal regeneration temperature is 200-350℃).

Storage: Avoid damping and any adsorption of water or organic substance before use. Otherwise it must be regenerated.

FAQ
 

 

1.Why is 3A molecular sieve more suitable for insulating glass instead of 4Amolecular sieve?
Because for insulating glass, only water needs to be removed and no other gases (such as oxygen or nitrogen) are required. 3A molecular sieve Specifically adsorbs water, without affecting the gas composition in the insulating layer. If 4A is used, it may adsorb CO₂ and other gases in the air, resulting in internal negative pressure and glass deformation.


2.How to determine if the 3A molecular sieve has become ineffective?
If used together with the color-changing silica gel, the silica gel changes from blue to pink, indicating that the environment is humid, but it cannot directly indicate that the molecular sieve has failed; It also can be determined by weighing method (decrease in water absorption rate) or by detecting the increase in gas humidity with a dew point meter;
