5A molecular sieve is calcium A type silica aluminumate. 5A molecular sieve can absorb the critical diameter of molecules below 5A,which is mainly used in positive alkane separation,acid removal and co-adsorption of water mixing with carbon dioxide. Main Application of 5A molecular sieve
1.It is used for the drying (dehydration), desulfurization (removal of sulfur compounds such as hydrogen sulfide) and decarbonization of natural gas.
2. Through pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology, it can be used to separate the mixed gases such as nitrogen and oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen to produce high-purity oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen.
3. During the petroleum dewaxing process, it also can be used to separate normal alkanes from branched-chain hydrocarbons and cycloalkanes to improve the fluidity and quality of petroleum products.
4.As the important adsorption material, it is suitable for various scale gas separation systems such as oxygen production, hydrogen production, and carbon dioxide production.
5.Absorbing moisture, carbon dioxide and other impurities in the air, it is used for the purification and refinement of industrial gases.
Product Package and Storage
Packaging: Steel drum / paper drum / aluminum foil bag or according to customer's request.
Storage: Avoid damping and any adsorption of water or organic substance before use. Otherwise it must be regenerated.

1.Can 5A molecular sieve be used to adsorb water? And how much water can it adsorb?
Answer: OK. The 5A molecular sieve has a strong affinity for water, with the maximum static adsorption capacity reaching approximately 22% of its own weight (this varies depending on temperature, humidity and pressure conditions).
2.What should be noted when storing 5A molecular sieves?
Molecular sieves should be stored in a sealed manner in a dry environment, with relative humidity ≤ 90%;
Do not expose directly to the air (it will quickly absorb moisture and lose its effectiveness);
Avoid contact with water, acids, alkalis, and oils (oils will clog the pores, and liquid water may release heat and cause danger);
The packaging is usually moisture-proof paper drums or aluminum foil composite bags.
