Common Pseudo Boehmite (chemical formula AlOOH·nH₂O, n = 0.08 - 0.62) is a transitional aluminum oxide with high specific surface area and large pore volume. Its wet form presents a white colloidal state, while its dry form is a white powder.Through different preparation processes, the pore volume (0.5 - 2.0 cm³/g) and specific surface area (up to 470 m²/g) can be regulated. After being calcined at 550 - 850 °C, it forms γ-Al₂O₃ or α-Al₂O₃.is powder(dry).It has high crystal phase purity, good molding performance, and thixotropic gel.
