N-Methylol Acrylamide (CAS:924-42-5) is also known as N-(Hydroxymethyl)acrylamide,It is white crystals,it is soluble in water and hydrophilic solvents,soluble in fatty acid lipids,almost insoluble in hydrocarbons,halogenated hydrocarbons and other hydrophobic solvents.It is a self-inbred active monomer,containing a double health conjugated with hydroxyl group,which is prone to condensation reaction in neutral or alkaline media.

Product characteristics
N-(Hydroxymethyl)acrylamide is unstable in moist air or water, easy to polymerize,and will quickly polymerize into insoluble resin when heated in the aqueous solution with acid.When it is copolymerized with acrylate monomers,hydroxymethyl is introduced and can be crosslinked by heating alone.
Product Application
N-Methylol Acrylamide is mainly used as a cross-inking agent for water-based adhesives and water-based latex. It is widely used in the synthesis of emulsion adhesives and self-crosslinking emulsion polymers.The initial reaction is mild and the emulsion system is stable.
It is also used for fiber modification,resin processing,adhesive and treatment agent for paper,leather,and metal surfaces,and can also be used as a soil amendment.Organic monomers of it can be used to prepare a variety of copolymers.

- Storage: It should be stored in a warehouse where is dry, away from light, well-ventilated and clean. It must not be placed outdoors or in direct sunlight .It has good storage stability and does not require low-temperature storage.
- Shelf life: Under good storage conditions, the validity period is one year. If it exceeds one year,the re-inspection is needed, it can still be used if the re-inspection results is good.
