N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) (CAS 110-26-9) ,is also known as methylene bis-acrylamide.It is white powder,odorless,minimal hygroscopicity.It is easy to self-crosslink in case of high temperature or strong light,and is slightly soluble in water and ethanol.MBA has two identical and very active reactive functional groups,which can polymerize with various ionic monomers,making it have a wide range of applications in medicine,papermaking,electronics,cosmetics,coatings and water treatment.

Product Application
N,N'-Methylenebisacrylamide is mainly used as a crosslinking agent for preparing polyacrylamide gels and can also be used for the separation of biological macromolecular compounds (proteins, peptides, nucleic acids). It is used in the production of photosensitive plastics, nylon photosensitive plates, papermaking and various film and magnetic tape manufacturing, as well as new high-grade high-temperature resistant and fire-resistant glass. It is also used in the production of napkins, health care diaper wipes and other highly efficient water-absorbing resins for industrial use.
Copolymerization with acrylamide and others can produce oilfield fracturing fluid, water-blocking grouting agent, etc. It can also be used in the production of printing and dyeing auxiliaries. In the construction industry, MBA is used to prepare insoluble gels to strengthen soil layers and prevent water seepage.

- Storage: It should be stored in a warehouse where is dry, away from light, well-ventilated and clean. It must not be placed outdoors or in direct sunlight .It has good storage stability and does not require low-temperature storage.
- Shelf life: Under good storage conditions, the validity period is one year. If it exceeds one year,the re-inspection is needed, it can still be used if the re-inspection results is good.
