The basic structure of polyether polyols is a chain or branched polymer formed by connecting multiple repeated ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO) or ethylene oxide butane (BO) units with oxygen atoms as Bridges. In the molecular structure, it contains many hydroxyl (-OH) active groups, which make it an extremely important reactive intermediate in polymer synthesis. Due to the low cohesion energy of the ether bond (-O-) and the flexible structure and easy rotation, the materials prepared by polyether polyols show low temperature compliance, good hydrolysis resistance, and excellent flow and miscibility during processing. In addition, depending on the starting agent, polyether polyols can have different physical forms and chemical properties and are suitable for a variety of applications, especially in the preparation of polyurethane foams, coatings, adhesives and elastomer products.
