Ethy Tripheny Phosphonium Bromide( CAS 1530-32-1) is an organophosphorus compound, It is white crystalline powder, with a molecular weight of 347.25 g/mol. It is soluble in organic solvents but almost insoluble in water, and it is absorbs moisture easily. It consists of a phosphorus atom bonded to three phenyl groups and one ethyl bromide group, exhibiting coordination ability and high reactivity.
