What are the classifications of polyether polyols?

Leave a message

According to the different types of polyurethane products and the different application fields, polyether polyols are classified as polyether polyols for flexible foam, polyether polyols for rigid foam, polyether polyols for CASE, polymer poluols and special polyether polyol. The most commonly used ones are polyether polyols for flexible foam and polyether polyols for rigid foam.

polyether polyols for flexible foam, usually produced of polyoxypropylene diol or triol, is formed by the ring-opening polymerization of epichlorohydrin using propylene glycol or diethylene glycol as the starting agent. The most commonly used ones are: Polyol F-5631 ,Polyol F-3050 ,Polyol F-330N

These three types of polyethers are widely used in the polyurethane flexible foam industry and can also be used in the production of polyurethane adhesives and elastomers.

polyether polyols for rigid foam, usually produced of polyoxypropylene tetraol or hexaol, uses pentaerythritol, ethylenediamine, sucrose, sorbitol, etc. as starting agents, with higher functional groups and much higher reactivity than soft polyether. The most commonly used types are: Polyol R-4110,Polyol R-6205,Polyol R-403.
