Ordinary active polyether polyol is used for the production of soft polyurethane foam, such as furniture cushions, mattresses, carpet underlay, and packaging materials. When highly active polyether polyol reacts with an appropriate amount of isocyanate, it can produce high-resilience products such as car cushions, steering wheels, and instrument panels.
Polyether polyol can also be used to manufacture rigid polyurethane foam, which is widely used for refrigerator freezers, pipeline insulation, polyurethane sandwich panels, spray insulation, and so on. Additionally, it is a key raw material in coatings, sealants, adhesives, and other products. Special polyether polyols can also be used for defoamers, demulsifiers and more.
